Lama Palden Drolma is the founder and spiritual director of Sukhasiddhi Foundation. She completed the traditional Tibetan Buddhist three-year retreat in under the previous Kalu Rinpoches guidance in 1985.
In 1986 she became one of the first Western women to be authorized as a lama in the Vajrayana tradition.
Learn More In addition to Kalu Rinpoche, she has studied with many of the great Tibetan masters from all lineages. With gratitude to her gurus, Lama Palden transmits, trains and mentors students, passing on the teachings and practices that enable one to reach complete awakening in this life. She focuses on translating Vajrayana Buddhist principles and practices in ways that make them accessible to Westerners. Lama Palden’s background is in Comparative Mysticism and Psychology. As a licensed psychotherapist she has done groundbreaking work in the intersection of the spiritual and psychological aspects of our humanity.
This workshop will be largely experiential with guided meditations and inquiry. Tibetan Buddhist teachings on the qualities on our innate awakened nature, our “Buddha nature,” the union of wisdom and love, pure being, will also be given.
The guided meditations will help students to access this for their own and others’ benefit.
Learn More Inquiry will be done in triads or alone with journaling in order to deepen experience and to clear issues that block realization of who you truly are. In conjunction with the rest of your Rythmia experience, this will be a powerful opening for people new to this transmission, and for others will be a chance to deepen into your true nature.
