Taita Juanito was raised in the Inga Tradition, he is an ethnobotanist with his own brand of herbal compounds which he distributes throughout Colombia. For the past 15 years, he has been a student of the Grandfather Taita Laureano. At 109 years-old, Taita Laureano is the eldest Taita of Colombia, as well as the eldest of the indigenous Siona people. Taita Juanito joins the traditions of his Inga bloodline with the Siona tradition he received from Taita Laureano. The Sionas are traditionally very strong and powerful healers that have been utilizing the amazing blessings of plant medicine for centuries.
Taita Juanito is a well-known and respected teacher-shaman, he has followers throughout the world, and people flock to him due to his compassionate heart and great wisdom. He is always willing to share his guidance with those that are interested in following the path of sacred medicines.
